The Willoughbys

The Willoughbys is an upcoming 2020 American-Canadian computer-animatedcomedy film directed by Kris Pearn and Cory Evans.

It is based on the children’s book of same name by Lois Lowry.

The film stars the voices of Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Alessia Cara, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski.

Convinced be better off raising themselves, the Willoughby children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation.

However, they learn the hard way that raising themselves isn’t such a good idea, so the siblings embark on their own high-flying adventure.

The animated film rights to the Lois Lowry‘s book The Willoughbys, and hired Kris Pearn to adapt into a screenplay .

Gilbert and Luke Carroll producing. Ricky Gervais was cast in the film to lead the voice.

In June 2017, more were cast to the film, included Terry Crews, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski, and Seán Cullen.

Will Forte and Alessia Cara also provided their voices, with Netflix now set to distribute the film.

As of November 2018, the film was still in-production at the Bron Animation studio in Burnaby, British Columbia.

who designed the characters for DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar and Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania as well as The Addams Family.

This movie looks cute! Visually it’s stylish and different, using some of the irregular frame-rate animation that made Spider-Man.

Barnaby A and Barnaby B, and their sister, Jane, attempt to fulfill their roles as good oldfashioned children.
